Korahire ("Korahire", "we", "us", or "our") provides a recruitment platform that helps companies post jobs, manage candidates, and collaborate on hiring. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — name, email address, company name, and password when you register a workspace.
• Recruitment data — job postings, candidate profiles, resumes, notes, and application statuses that you or your team enter into the platform.
• Candidate-submitted data — when a candidate applies to a job through Korahire, we collect the information they submit (name, email, phone, resume, and cover letter) on behalf of the hiring company.
• Billing information — subscription plan and billing history. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment provider, Paddle; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Usage data — log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, collected automatically to keep the service secure and reliable.

2. How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the platform.
• To process subscriptions and payments through Paddle.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, invitations, billing receipts, application notifications).
• To power optional AI-assisted features, such as job description drafting and candidate screening insights.
• To monitor and improve the security, performance, and reliability of the service.
• To respond to support requests sent through our contact form.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Paddle, our merchant of record, to process subscription payments and manage billing.
• Infrastructure and email providers we rely on to host the application, store files, and deliver transactional email.
• Other users in your workspace — recruitment data you enter is visible to other members of your company's Korahire account, according to their role.
• Authorities, where required to comply with a legal obligation or to protect the rights and safety of Korahire, our users, or the public.

4. Data retention

We retain account and recruitment data for as long as your workspace remains active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Object to or restrict certain uses of your data.

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information safe and to respond quickly to any incident.

Korahire is intended for business use by working professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
